Kirk Rovang serves as the Africa Exploration Manager for Noble Energy. In this position, Mr. Rovang is responsible forthe exploration activitieswithin the Gabon and Congo Basins. Previously, he served the company as the Gulf of Mexico Exploration Manager joining the organization in 2004. Mr. Rovang brings more than 35 years of industry experience to this role having spent twenty four years in various exploration and development positions within the Hess Corporation from1981. Mr. Rovang holds a bachelor's degree in geology from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree from the University of Tulsa. He is a member of several professional and civic organizations and is a certified Petroleum Geologist.
