Milko Moussouri

With over 20 years of oil and gas industry experience, Milko Moussirou worked on Exploration and Development Projects in several countries around the world including Gabon, The Netherlands, the USA and France. Milko Moussirou has worked for Shell Gabon, NAM (Nederlandse Aardolie Maaschrapij), Shell Deepwater Services (SIEP), Decision Strategies Inc. and created his own consulting company Koval Petroleum; during his consulting period Milko helped, an US based company Caesar Systems LLC develop its activity in Europe, providing Field Development Planning Expertise to Shell in The Hague and Total in La Defense, Paris. Since 2011, Milko Moussirou moved back to Gabon to help launch Gabon Oil Company, a newly created State Company. Milko started his carrier in Exploration and quickly moved to Oil & Gas Field Development Studies (Technical & Economical evaluation of projects including PSC and Economic screening). Today Milko is the Assets Operation Director at Gabon Oil Company. In 2013, Gabon Oil Company became the first Domestic Oil Producer in Gabon history. Milko is fluent in numerous languages including English, French and Czech. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. In 1999, he created and designed the web site www.les-pantheres.com, which earned him an international RFI Net Africa award in 2004. The award was sponsored by Radio France International and the UNESCO.

 

About Gabon National Oil Company


 Gabon, one of the oil and gas producing nations of Africa is coming more alive and buoyant in its effort to become a premier producer in the continent. So far, the country has shown seriousness to become a top producing nation and has instituted helpful decrees to commercialize the State’s involvement in the exploration and production of hydrocarbon.  Under the leadership of H.E. Ali Bongo, the president of Gabon, the State established a national oil company called called Société National des Hydrocarbures du Gabon (SNHG).

As the youngest national oil company in Africa – Gabon National Oil Company (also known as SNHG) has made some remarkable achievements. Notable among them is the commercial lifting of its first cargo of Total Gabon Terminal of about 650,000 barrels of oil (Rabi Blend Crude) in December 2012 at the economic city of Port Gentel.  That was the first time the State was involved in such venture.

The national oil company has assets in fields such as Obangue (100%), Remboue, Batanga, Bende, and  also has explorations  assets in blocks such : Maghena (operator Addax), Agali (Operator Anadarko) and many others.
