Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) Participating in Houston Oil Conference
Energy & Corporate Africa the organizers of the 9th Annual Sub-Saharan Africa Oil & Gas Conference scheduled for April 27 -28, 2016 at Houston Marriott Westchase has announced that the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) will participate fully in the conference. It has been confirmed that the newly elected president of PETAN, Bank-Anthony Okoroafor will present a keynote paper in the conference on the imperatives of optimizing Nigeria oil sector through technology.
PETAN has been promoting the development of Nigeria oil and gas industry through technology and was very instrumental in the birthing of local content policy in Nigeria. PETAN is an association of Nigerian indigenous technical oilfield service companies in the upstream and downstream sectors.
According to Sunny Oputa, chief executive officer of Energy & Corporate Africa, the confirmed of the participation of PETAN is a good development considering the important role of PETAN in the development of Nigeria oil industry.
